Wow talking about how time flies I can remember taking Kaysen to the Heritage Park egg hunt last year. It was so cold he could have cared less what we were doing, he would have rather being home where it was warm. I was just crazy and had to be out celebrating with him. He looked like a little old man...
Then there is there year, we went to Hooper Parks Egg hunt first and he could have cared less what was going on there. They just threw the candy on the ground. Kaysen was more interested in running after all the other kids. I think he picked up once piece and he wanted to eat it right there. Once we were don't there we went over to Heritage Park. He was way excited once he saw all the bright and colorful eggs. He picked up a yellow one first and he was way excited he fell over and couldn't get back up because he didn't want to let go of his new egg. He got a good amount of eggs and now he is more into playing with the eggs then he is about the candy. He has learned how to open and shut them. He throw all his candy on the floor last night so he could play with just the eggs without the candy getting in the way. What a little stinker. We also had to stop by Winegars to see the Easter Bunny there. He wasn't scared of him, thank goodness, but he wasn't sure what to think about it. The bunny was trying to give him an egg and he just stood there looking at him. Daddy finally had to help him and then he wanted to pet the bunnies hand lol silly boy!!! Once we got home he was more then worn out. He didn't even open his eyes when I got him out of the car. We then colored eggs once he was awake. He just couldn't wait to touch everything and mom was to slow for him. I wasn't planning on letting him do the actually dying, but he loved doing it and threw a fit until I let him. So he ended up doing all but the first two eggs. He did really good he only spilt once and I think it was more my fault then his. He got the dye on his fingers and wasn't sure he would look at his fingers then back at me like mom what happened... Lol then he got it on his leg and he kind of freaked out. It was great Easter was amazing this year and I can't wait until next year when he will know even more!!! Life has been amazing and I couldn't ask for anything more. I have my best friend by my side all the time and a great son and another little one on the way. What more could a mommy ask for in this world!!!!
